Montreal, January 26, 2021 - Thingsfactory, which in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis developed telethermographs for non-contact, facial temperature measurement, is expanding its family of intelligent fever detectors and today launches the TF-400C, a new industrial model in a fully integrated camera format.
Specially designed for factories and public spaces, the TF-400C offers power over Ethernet (POE) or traditional 12 VDC network. It can be connected to the corporate network or using the LTE modem and meets the highest security standards to ensure full data confidentiality.
Featuring powerful state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, including the latest NVidia Jetson NX AI processor, the TF-400C is equipped with the latest thermal imaging and real-time video analytics technologies for guaranteed accuracy and performance.
It also uses the latest version of Thingsfactory's high-performance HeatUp! fever detection software.
Fast, accurate, high performance
Simple to use and accurate, the TF-400C captures the temperature at the hottest point on the face with an accuracy of a tenth of a degree and sends alerts in real time. With unparalleled speed, it takes more than 9 images per second without face limitations and measures the temperature despite masks, glasses, hats and scarves. In addition, it has the ability to simultaneously capture the temperature of all moving people in an area of 4 m x 4 m.
When the device detects high temperatures, it automatically sends a message to the responsible personnel including thermal and actual photos as well as the time and date of the event.
Easy to install
For quick and easy installation, the TF-400C housing includes standard VESA type mounting holes or 1⁄4 inch tripod screws. Its weight has also been greatly reduced for simplified mounting.
